Candice Haster was born in Kansas City, Missouri and studied art at the University of Montana. Over the course of ten years, she was a Teaching Artist in Residence in over 40 Title I schools in New York City, and she developed arts, literacy, and garden-based programming for youth in Providence, RI and Portland, OR - while continuing to produce works in clay, paper, and felt. In 2012 she moved back to Missoula, MT where she continues to work with clay, influenced clearly by the spaces in which she's lived. Candice has one kiddo, affectionately know as Turkey.
